The IMDG Awareness Course is the IMDG training in e-learning for general maritime personnel such as clerks, administrators, account managers and anyone who needs knowledge of the IMDG Code and Dangerous Goods Transport requirements. This course provides appropriate knowledge for personnel that may not be covered by the role-specific courses. This course is designed to meet the training requirements of the IMDG Code.
Preparatory training
No preparatory training is required. This is a basic dangerous goods course that anyone who works with it can successfully complete. Therefore we have not given a recommended time for the course.
Certificate and Duration
The Awareness Course concludes with a multiple-choice test. With a score of 70% or more, the participant receives the E-Learning IMDG Awareness Course certificate. The course lasts around 2 hours depending on how much time you put in. We recommend that you go through all modules at least twice to retain knowledge.
